Common terms and expressions used in the world of Low Fidelity
C-Telex — Short for Converted Telex. Arslan system for intercontinental communications that translates incoming communications into a protocol complying with Arslan’s low-tech directives, and reformats outgoing communications into whatever protocol is used on the other end.
exree permit — Short for exit reentry permit.
FSA — Formalised Seal of Approval.
mimex — Arslan’s rough equivalent of the fax, but along with the hard copy, the receiving machine can store a record of the doc in the mainframe if it’s connected to one.
